In the comment section of my recent post about my goals for 2019, a reader named KT asked a number of questions, including putting in a request for us to share the details of our portfolio.
I thought this was a great idea. After all, it appears that a number of people are getting some value out of checking out our monthly net worth and passive income reports, so it stands to reason that people would probably find it interesting to see our actual investments.
That said, I’ve spend some time over the last few days figuring out how to track our portfolio using Google Sheets, then have the portfolio available in real time on my website. I’m happy to say that I think I’ve finally got it figured out.
So, if you’re interested, check out our portfolio. It will be permanently available from Menu->About->The Money Commando Portfolio.
For now I am tracking the stocks, the number of shares, total value, and the dividend payouts. I’ll likely continue to improve the spreadsheet over time.
Check it out and let me know what you think.
Was always curious about this, thanks for sharing.
I’m glad you find it useful. As I said, I’ll be adding our other accounts (401k, IRA, etc.) over time.
Thank you for sharing the brokerage portfolio. I get some value out of it. But is it just a small part of your overall stock portfolio, as it’s only a small fraction of your net worth?
That’s correct. If you look at my net worth reports from this year I break down my asset allocation, so you can see that our brokerage accounts are about 50% of our total net worth.
Hey,
I’ve found this blog from http://www.dividenddriven.com/leaderboard.php, and after reading this, I was wondering if you would give digrin.com a try. Portfolio can be shared publicly and just yesterday dividend calendar had a facelift – https://twitter.com/digrin_com/status/1134933014176260096
Let me know if you would be willing to try it out, I’d give you a Supporter membership if you would wanna play with dividend calendar, otherwise, everything is free as of now 🙂
